You know a cassette is rad when you have to punch the holes yourself (see image).

As for the tunes, well, they're rad. "Gobstopper" is reminiscent of early Dinosaur Jr. "Watch" is another standout track. Basically, Crushstory was emo before there was a term for it.

Crushstory opened for several touring bands, including Tilt and Reverend Horton Heat. They also did a spot-on cover of "Strutter."

Prior to Crushstory, Jamie was in Low Tolerance, and he later played in the Fabulous Baker Boys and 10k Drive. Brooks was later in Sand Which Is, worked with FYHY, and is now in Avec. Andy continues to perform as well.
